I am inspired by unusual color combinations, emotions, nature and just simply the little things I see everyday.
I enjoy letting go and giving myself full freedom to experiment with different materials, colors and techniques.
Im drawn to both flat graphic shapes and very dimensional organic ones. Im interested in building texture but also enjoy the smooth surface of the canvas. I like exaggerated perspectives and at the same time simple but strong compositions.
I think in the end my style is a result of all these ideas existing in harmony.
I paint primarily to satisfy my inner being. My work is like an escape from the real world. Life can be tough, its nice to escape from time to time.
I cant help but think my pieces are in some ways a reflection of myself. We are both constantly changing and growing and there are qualities in my work that I also know are in me.
I believe every artist transfers a piece of themselves onto each creation wether knowingly or not and I am no exception to the rule.
